Restaurant Gaumenfreund in Aalen

The buffet is not recommended. Once and never again. Too bad. The vegetables were overcooked and tasted like nothing. Overall looked unsavory. The spinach in the puff pastry looked dried up and tasted "lätschig", in Swabian language. Only the starters, like the salad, and the dessert were enjoyable. I think "a l carte" would have been better. I conclude that because the restaurant was well attended that Saturday evening.

Great food! 10 out of 10. Super High Quality Meat (Lamb & Veal) & Perfect Spiced Potato Meals. Best food for a long time. & more unexpectedly.

The food was excellent. The lambcarrée was incredibly tender and well-seasoned with a fine sauce. The oven vegetables were delicious. The falafel with couscous salad and dip was excellent.

Excellent cuisine. I have been to this restaurant for the first time and can recommend it throughout. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented on the plate and the atmosphere was pleasant. The wait staff were all very friendly and helpful. Keep it up!

Delicious food, but worth considering price policy. Hotel guests get 20% on everything. If then but the beer according to the list costs € 4.80 and the food is also relatively high priced excellent, that already acts as a very transparent marketing measure without real advantage for the guest.
